In this region we have
the urban area and the agricultural heartland.
Its landscaping are dominated by the imponent
Andes mountain Range. The most important cities
of the area are the Metropolitan Region ,capital
of the country, Santiago, Valparaiso our main
harbour and Viña del Mar.

Santiago
The city was founded by Mr. Pedro de Valdivia
on February 12th 1541 at the bottom of Santa
Lucia Hill.

The capital of our country with over six million
inhabitants in a surface of 1.500 kms2. Located
at the bottom of The Andes Mountin Range,
119 kms far from the Pacific Ocean and just
40 kms from the main Sky Resorts, at an average
altitude of 553 mts above sea level.

build surrounding the main square, Weapon Square
reaching to the north and south two arms of
the Mapocho river, our main river.

Tour ( 3 1/2 Hours )
We start our tour with a sightseeing of our
historic Santiago, stopping at the National
Mint, Presidential Palace and its Civic Center.Continuing
to the Heart of Santiago the Main Square and
the buildings from the area.
Later on we shall head on to Santa Lucia Hill,
the hill upon which the Spanish founded Santiago
in 1541. From this point we continue uptown
to see some of Providencia and Las Condes- one
of the noble parts of the city with elegant
shops, first class restaurants and some futuristic
high-rise buildings stopping at a nice handicraft
shop and taking you back to your hotel.

Viñedos
de la Zona Central
Another interesting
place to visit is the Wineries at the Central
Valley. Few countries in the world have these
conditions to produce wine.
The soft ocean breezes,
the impressive Andes mountains, perfectly
balanced soil components and clean mountain
rivers, create an ideal micro-climate for
cultivating the noblest French stock, acting
as a natural barrier protecting the vineyards.

new investors, whom appllying top technology
have gotten the very best quality in their
vintages.

Concha y Toro
( Half Day )

We leave Santiago direction South, in about
40 minutes we reach the Maipo Valley, the village
of Pirque, where the largest Winery of the Country
is located, Concha Y Toro. Founded on 1883 by
Mr. Melchor Concha y Toro.
At the Winery you will have a guided tour through
the parks, the main house, the vineyards and
the most important cellar of the winery, The
Devil Cellar. Three tastings included.

Casablanca Valley
This is the Valley which has gotten its last
development in the country, in comparison with
other regions. Today we have about 5000 hectares
planted, mainly white varieties, such a s Chardonnay.
We do have around 25 wineries in this Valley,
some with nice Restaurant facillities.

We leave northwest from Santiago to the COAST
till we reach Casablanca Valley. We visit two
wineries ( according to program), optional lunch
at a Winery, return to Santiago. Tastings included.
Valle
de Colchagua
La Historia del valle se remonta a antes de
la Conquista Española, donde los

habitantes del Valle de Colchagua, era la tribu
indígena de los Chiquíllanes.
Estos eran los menos numerosos y más
bélicos de las tribus mapuches que vivían
en Chile, y sólo se cubrían con
cueros de guanaco o andaban desnudos. Estos
fueron conquistados por el Imperio Inca, el
que llegó en su límite sur hasta
el Valle de Colchagua, los que desarrollaron
los primeros sistemas de regadío, y la
utilización agrícola de esta tierra.

El clima del valle de Colchagua es el factor
principal que determina la calidad superior
de los vinos.
|
Con las cuatro estaciones del año
muy marcadas, y por su geografía,
la influencia de la brisa marina y de
los vientos de la Cordillera de los
Andes, generan una condición
ideal, especialmente en los meses de
verano (Noviembre - Abril), donde
se registran hasta 22° de diferencia
térmica
(35 ° max. - 13° min.) lo que
permite una madurez lenta de la uva,
haciéndola más aromática
y con sabores más intensos.

Excursión
de día completo
En un día tiene
la posibilidad de visitar este Valle, saliendo
por la mañana temprano hacia el sur.
Atravesará zonas productoras de frutas
hasta llegar al Valle de Colchagua. Aquí
tendrá la posibilidad de visitar dos
Viñedos, disfrutar de un almuerzo típico
y también visitar el Museo de Santa Cruz.

Ruta
del Vino 3 días / 2 noches
La Ruta del Vino consiste en un circuíto
de visitas a Viñas, en donde podrá
conocer el proceso productivo de los distintos
tipos y variedades de vinos, su tecnología,
el ambiente campestre e industrial entremezclado
y en algunos casos se verá la historia
y tradición de nobles familias que hicieron
su instalación en este fértil
valle en la época de la colonia.

Valle
Nevado 45 KMS de Santiago

No sólo es el
centro invernal más reciente de
nuestro país, sino que también
el más grande y moderno.
Ubicado a 3.025 m sobre el nivel del mar,
a 45 km de Santiago, posee una superficie
esquiable de 9.000 hectáreas y
un desnivel de 810 m.
Junto a las de La Parva y El Colorado-Farellones,
constituyen la mayor superficie esquiable
de América del Sur.

Además, el centro posee la infraestructura
para hacer nieve, y cubrir el 30% del área
esquiable.
Durante los meses de verano es un paseo inolvidable
debido a la majestuosidad y cercanía
de nuestra Cordillera de Los Andes.
